AI Product Designer

About the role:

AI products often become complicated because they expose technology instead of solving problems. At Span, we believe great design makes powerful systems feel simple.

As an AI Product Designer, you'll create experiences that help customers build, deploy, and manage AI workflows with confidence. You'll work closely with product managers and engineers to design interfaces that make automation accessible to both technical and non-technical teams.

You'll play a key role in shaping the user experience of a product that sits at the center of business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end product experiences

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs

• Conduct user research and usability testing

• Simplify complex workflow and automation experiences

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams

• Maintain and evolve the design system

• Advocate for accessibility and user-centered design principles

• Use customer feedback to continuously improve experiences

Requirements:

• 4+ years of product design experience

• Strong portfolio showcasing SaaS or B2B products

• Expertise with Figma and modern design tools

• Experience designing complex workflows or enterprise software

• Strong visual and interaction design skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Nice To Have:

• Experience designing AI-powered products

• Knowledge of workflow automation platforms

• User research experience
