About the role:
Reliability is one of the most important features of any infrastructure platform.
As a Platform Engineer, you'll help build and maintain the systems that power Span's AI workflow infrastructure. You'll focus on scalability, security, observability, and performance to ensure customers can depend on Span for mission-critical operations.
You'll work closely with engineering teams across the company to improve deployment pipelines, infrastructure tooling, and platform resilience.
Responsibilities:
Design and maintain cloud infrastructure
Improve platform reliability and system performance
Build internal tooling and deployment automation
Strengthen security and compliance practices
Optimize infrastructure costs and scalability
Improve monitoring and observability systems
Participate in architecture and reliability reviews
Support incident response and recovery efforts
Requirements:
5+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience
Experience with cloud-native architectures
Strong understanding of distributed systems
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation
Experience with infrastructure as code
Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
Nice To Have:
Experience supporting AI workloads
Kubernetes experience
Multi-tenant SaaS platform experience
